This can be helpful if you have 1 filter, but want to use it on multiple lenses that all have different lens diameters! Step up rings are perfect when you want to use a larger Prism Lens FX Filter on a smaller lens.
STEP DOWN RINGS
Step down rings work when you have a larger lens and need to step down to a filter size that is smaller then your lens size.
